William Ingham
William Ingham (MFA. University of Washington, 1972), is a Northwest artist
painting in a fluid, expressionist style. His paintings suggest natural elements in flux,
but without recognizable imagery. Rich in color and sweeping movement, dreamlike
and organic, his dexterous use of line, brushstroke and scale result in lavish and complex paintings both striking, but carefully and thoughtfully produced.
William Ingham's work is in many private, and over 40 corporate art collections
across the country. He was awarded a retrospective show (2006) at the Colby College
Museum of Art.
